چکیده
Modern communication demands a low-profile, versatile antenna. In this paper, low-profile antenna of size 38 × 40 0.787 m 3 is proposed to reconfigure frequency and radiation pattern. The Rogers RT Duroid 5870 dielectric constant 2.33 used as substrate. Frequency reconfiguration achieved by connecting patches different lengths corresponding the resonant frequencies through three PIN diode switches. Switching on/off these diodes results in switching between four distinct bands. Yagi-Uda principle utilized alter Simple parasitic elements are loaded on either side radiating structure. Changing electrical using switches facilitates pattern making them behave reflector/director. presented structure resonates at (5.3 GHz/3.82 GHz/2.77 GHz/2.2 GHz) with maximum beam tilt angles for each resonating frequency. SMP1345-079LF operation. Biasing circuit has been designed ensure RF DC isolation. offers acceptable performance all states. average measured gains 2.43 dBi, 2.42 3.5 3.29 dBi 5.3 GHz, 3.82 2.77 2.2 respectively. On an average, exhibits simulated efficiency 81%. suitable 5G its bandwidth covers band 1, 7, 46, 77 new radio (NR) standard. Fabrication testing done validate results.
